CZUR Book Scanners in the University Library

CZUR ET professional document and book scanners are now available to readers in the university library. Books and documents can be scanned quickly and with high quality, without having to stretch the book’s spine across a glass plate.  

When scanning books, the software automatically corrects for page curvature and treats each page as a separate page. The scanned images remain natural and easy to read, regardless of the angle at which the book is positioned. Thanks to the OCR feature, the text in scanned documents can be recognized and saved in formats such as Word, PDF, Excel, or TXT. Support for OCR technology in over 180 languages makes this tool truly versatile.  


    • Using the Self-Service Scanner

       
      1. Log in to the computer with your PTE ID. (neptunkód@tr.pte.hu) 
      2. Launch the CZUR SCANNER software on the computer, then click the Scan button. 
      3. The program may offer to display a user guide. You can skip this by clicking the Skip button.
      4. Turn on the scanner using the switch located on the back of the device.
      5. Place the book or document you want to scan in the center of the scanning bed.
      6. Select the appropriate processing mode for scanning from the “Processing Mode” menu.
      7. Start scanning using the manual button, the “Scan” button in the software, or enable the Auto-Scan (automatic page detection) feature.
      8. After scanning is complete, return to the previous page.
      9. The scanned images will appear in the list on the right side of the software. Select the desired pages.
      10. Click the Export button in the lower-right corner.
      11. Select the desired format.
      12. Save the finished file to your computer.
      13. You can copy the finished file to your own storage device or, after logging into your email account, send it to yourself via email.
      14. After use, please log out of your university account by clicking the Start menu. 


    Use of this service is free of charge.
